Founded and chaired by coach Paul Downing, resident of Beswick, Beswick Community Football Club is the first FA Affiliated football club in the local community.



Since its inception in 2022, BeswickCFC has made a positive impact within the neighbourhood and experienced remarkable growth.

Their journey has been marked by recognition, including nominations and awards such as the MCRActive "Community Coach Of The Year" award and "Grassroots Club Of The Year Award".

Based at The East Manchester Academy, BeswickCFC offers sporting opportunities for the local community, both in terms of footballing opportunities for young people but also volunteer opportunities and coaching prospects. They offer football coaching, weekly matches, and special tournaments for children in the East Manchester area.

It’s important to the club that subscription fees are kept low, ensuring affordability for the local community.

BeswickCFC’s aim is to offer a complete football facility for the local community. They would like to offer the use of the space and premises out to the wider community, turning BeswickCFC into a club the whole area can be proud of.

Can you Step Up for BeswickCFC? Currently, Paul is on the lookout for more sponsorship, coaches, kit, equipment, storage and facilities.
