Directions For Men is a talking group for men based in Openshaw, open to all men looking for a listening ear or helping hand through difficult times.

The weekly group brings men together in an informal,
safe space to support one another through tough times.

Imran and Mike who run the group say “when you arrive will be greeted by a smile, a handshake and the offer of
a brew to help settle any nerves or anxiety you may have.
We don’t shine spotlights on people and you are
free to talk as much or as little as you want.”

Mike has been attending Directions for Men since 2019
and says “I looked around and tried so many different ideas but none of them gained my interest. Then I found Directions of Men in 2019. It was different in many ways and the punch line that “Men don’t ask for Directions” hit me as a true saying”.
